The EmployeeOS · macOS & Windows

Hire an AI
employee.

Nyralux is the EmployeeOS: a real AI employee with its own identity, memory, permissions, computer, and logins — working alongside your team, in the tools your team already uses. Any model powers it. You bring the key.

Any model — bring your own key.Signed macOS & Windows builds at 1.0.Open source (MIT).

How the work runs

Assign it work.
Stay the approver.

Nyralux is a harness, not a chat app. The agent loop, the tool registry, the permission tiers, and the approvals that pause and resume are the product — not a wrapper around one vendor's model.

  1. 01

    Assign

Hand it a goal, not a prompt.

Give the assignment its context, the capabilities it may use, and the permission tier you are comfortable with — from the Teams surface or a direct message.
  2. 02

    Execute

It plans, calls tools, and iterates.

The employee runs a plan → act → observe loop through permission-gated tools — files, shell, web, GitHub — and keeps going until the job is done or a decision is yours.
  3. 03

    Approve

It pauses for you, then finishes.

Sensitive actions stop and wait. Approve or deny in place, the run resumes under the same identity, and the assignment closes with a durable artifact you can link to.

Claude in Slack gives you their model inside their app. Nyralux gives you an employee you own.

Model-agnostic and bring-your-own-key, on a desktop app you download directly, as an employee with its own computer and its own logins. Persistent AI coworkers are table stakes — owning yours is the difference.

What defines it

Models change.
The employee stays.

01

Durable identity

Models are interchangeable brains. The employee is durable.

Forge keeps the same identity, role, memory, permissions, and work history when the model behind it changes — Claude today, a local coding model tomorrow, same teammate either way.

02

Teams first

Companies hire them. Individuals can too.

Nyralux is built for teams that share AI employees everyone can see and supervise. One person hiring an employee for themselves is supported — just not the lead story.

03

A literal employee

It has its own computer and its own logins.

A persistent working directory, a shell, a browser session, and scoped credentials. It acts as itself, never by borrowing the human accounts you already have.

04

Fair pricing

Pay for the employee, not the tokens.

Bring your own key on every plan and pay your provider directly, or let us hold the keys on a managed plan. Inference is a cost input, not a markup opportunity.

05

Presence

It shows up where you already work.

Slack first — `@Forge investigate the failed build` — then GitHub and Linear. Nyralux stays the source of truth for identity, permissions, memory, and work history.

Nyralux running on macOS

Built as one desktop product

One product.
Two platforms.

1.0 ships as a signed, notarised macOS DMG and a signed Windows installer, downloaded straight from this site — no App Store, no 30% cut, no review gate. iPhone, iPad, and Watch arrive after 1.0 as companions.
